Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Monitor and document environmental control systems
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment following HACCP standards
- Assist with loading/unloading of refrigerated transports
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods
- Adhere to OSHA and GMP safety protocols
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Prior cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
