Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital thermometers and HVAC systems
- Inspect, load, and unload refrigerated trucks with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Adhere to HACCP protocols for food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate temperature-controlled conveyance systems and automated storage equipment
- Conduct daily inventory audits using warehouse management software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
