Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct routine inventory audits and stock rotation in cold storage areas
- Adhere to strict HACCP and sanitation protocols for food safety
- Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners and cold storage doors
- Collaborate with team members on receiving, storing, and order fulfillment
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Flexible availability including evenings/weekends (10-30 hrs/week)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
