Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, sort, and package temperature-sensitive products
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all tasks
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Monitor temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work in sub-freezing environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, or holidays
- Reliable transportation to off-site industrial location
