Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage units
- Handle, sort, and organize perishable goods according to safety protocols
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Conduct inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members on efficient loading/unloading processes
- Complete daily equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to obtain required food handling certification
