Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated environments (32°F-40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Operate temperature monitoring equipment and report discrepancies
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment using food-grade cleaning agents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics coordination
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and temperature monitoring
- Valid driver's license preferred (forklift certification provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Previous warehouse experience considered a plus
