Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual labor techniques.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and tracking stock movements.
- Ensure the cold storage facility remains at optimal temperatures and is clean and organized.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Assist in quality control by inspecting products for damage or spoilage.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (-10°F to 40°F) for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long durations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
