Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated material handling equipment safely
- Perform inventory management using barcode scanning and warehouse management systems
- Enforce strict HACCP and food safety protocols during product handling
- Conduct routine facility inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and personal protective equipment requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
