Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor refrigeration systems to maintain precise temperature ranges (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform inventory counts and warehouse audits using RF scanning technology
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of storage areas and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient distribution
- Document operational data and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license preferred
- Reliable transportation to Harbor Industrial Way location
- Previous warehouse experience a plus but not required
