Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs
- Manage inventory using barcode scanning and warehouse management software
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols for perishable goods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cold storage or warehouse experience
- OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
