Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate inventory management systems (RF scanners)
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (-20°F) for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights/weekends)
- Clean drug screening and background check required
