Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight trucks using proper handling equipment and techniques.
- Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Cold Chain Integrity: Monitor storage temperatures and ensure products are stored according to strict safety guidelines.
- Organization: Keep storage aisles organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred or training available).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in cold storage environments (below freezing).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- Basic Math: Ability to read and comprehend basic inventory numbers and labels.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Documentation: Ability to complete necessary paperwork and time logs accurately.
