Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning barcodes and maintaining digital logs.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards and accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job.
- Must have a valid driver's license (CDL not required but preferred).
