Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in icy conditions
- Load/unload trucks with perishable goods using RF scanners
- Conduct daily inventory counts and cycle counts
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols
- Report equipment malfunctions and environmental hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely shipments
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Reliable transportation to 4500 Gulf Freeway
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
