Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing freight in temperature-controlled environments.
- Monitor storage units to ensure temperature controls are set correctly and consistent.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization within the freezer and cooler sections.
- Inspect equipment and safety gear to ensure compliance with company safety standards.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding stock levels and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in extreme cold conditions (temperatures may range from -10°F to 40°F).
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Forklift certification is a major plus.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
