Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently within the facility.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels in cold storage areas.
- Monitor and report any temperature irregularities in storage units to ensure product integrity.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery following all safety protocols.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of work areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures may drop below 40°F).
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety regulations strictly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and time.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
