Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage environments (0°F to 40°F)
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels using digital control systems
- Inspect products for quality compliance and document inventory movements
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts following strict safety protocols
- Adhere to HACCP standards and sanitation procedures for food-grade facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (4-8 hour shifts)
- Previous warehouse, cold storage, or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for entire shifts
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
