Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move inventory efficiently
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and storage facilities
- Manage inventory rotation and FIFO protocols for product freshness
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of cold storage areas
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
