Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Goods: Safely handle and transfer pallets and loose inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate stock counts and data entry.
- Cold Chain Integrity: Monitor storage conditions and ensure compliance with temperature regulations to preserve product quality.
- Packing & Labeling: Prepare and label shipments according to shipping guidelines and customer requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on machinery and report any issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage environments is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a cold environment.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
