Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, verify, and store incoming shipments in designated temperature zones.
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Temperature Compliance: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure the cold storage environment remains within optimal ranges.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with shift supervisors and team members to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below 40°F) for extended shifts.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning and tracking inventory.
- Communication: Basic computer skills and ability to communicate clearly with supervisors.
