Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
- Perform inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times.
- Operate material handling equipment in compliance with company and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for warehouse floor roles, but a plus).
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
