Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments onto and off of trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and organize inventory within our state-of-the-art temperature-controlled environments.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workspace.
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks on stored goods to ensure they meet quality standards and are properly labeled.
- Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Temperature Tolerance: Ability to work effectively in extreme cold environments (typically -10°F to 40°F).
- Physical Stamina: Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow inventory procedures accurately.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance in previous employment.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic counting and inventory tracking.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
