Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments from refrigerated trucks and storage units.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock organization.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure product quality and safety compliance.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the storage area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in cold conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Valid License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic Skills: Ability to read and understand basic safety instructions and inventory labels.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
