Responsibilities
- Load and unload temperature-controlled trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and record temperatures in storage units to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and proper labeling.
- Maintain a sanitary and organized work area, including regular cleaning of equipment and walkways.
- Perform inventory checks and manage stock rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (30°F to 0°F).
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Basic math skills for scanning and inventory verification.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a positive work history.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
