We're seeking a reliable Part-Time Cold Storage Worker to maintain our state-of-the-art facility in Colorado Springs. Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones using calibrated monitoring systems
- Safely unload, sort, and inventory perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation protocols while documenting stock movements in WMS
- Sanitize equipment and facilities daily using food-grade cleaning solutions
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP compliance standards at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and temperature monitoring
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs regularly with proper technique
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Attention to detail with strong observational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, or evenings
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
