Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F) in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move perishable goods safely
- Perform inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Sanitize equipment and storage spaces according to food safety standards
- Load/unload trucks while maintaining FIFO rotation principles
- Complete daily inspection logs and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
