Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and maintain precise temperature logs for perishable goods
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems following OSHA standards
- Conduct daily inventory counts using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment to meet FDA food safety protocols
- Monitor humidity/temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Comply with HACCP guidelines for cold chain compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
