Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock as it enters and exits the facility.
- Ensure the cold storage environment remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Monitor temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, including labeling and palletizing.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures can drop below 40°F).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
