Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders while maintaining inventory accuracy using scanning systems.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload trucks and containers in a timely manner, ensuring product security and preventing damage.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity targets and workflow goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Reliability: Consistent work history and ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting and weighing items.
