Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage temperatures (38°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move refrigerated products safely
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and WMS software
- Enforce strict food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with temperature-sensitive goods
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred (we provide training)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work in 38°F environment for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
