Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures and humidity levels
- Organize, label, and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments in refrigerated trucks
- Complete inventory documentation and quality checks
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – entry-level candidates welcome
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to 45°F)
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation to our Jersey City facility
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
