Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperature control in refrigerated storage areas
- Organize and rotate inventory following FIFO protocols
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Inspect and document storage conditions daily
- Adhere to OSHA and food safety standards
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments
- Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled)
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours in refrigerated environments (35-45°F)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Reliable transportation to Nimitz Hwy location
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- No prior cold storage experience required
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
