Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in 0-40°F environments
- Monitor temperature logs and maintain sanitation standards per FDA guidelines
- Operate pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment after training
- Perform inventory counts and cycle checks using handheld scanners
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols including proper PPE usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Willingness to work in sub-zero temperatures and humid environments
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (or pursuing)
- Reliable transportation to Northeast DC facility
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
