Responsibilities
- Accurately pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications
- Operate packaging equipment including tape dispensers, box sealers, and labeling machines
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure timely order processing and shipping deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workstations
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order status
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packing efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Valid Michigan driver's license preferred (for equipment operation)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes
- Reliable transportation to our Industrial Avenue facility
