Your Daily Responsibilities
As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload palletized goods from trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Maintain the integrity of the cold chain by adhering to strict temperature controls.
- Organize warehouse inventory and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of storage areas to meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Safety Orientation: Must be willing to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Reliability: Ability to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic Math: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counting.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
