Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated warehouse environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with precision and efficiency
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Document temperature logs and quality control checks as per company standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Valid driver’s license (preferred for equipment operation)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (company-paid training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
