Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/frozen storage zones
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using warehouse management systems
- Conduct sanitation protocols and cleanliness checks to meet FDA standards
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with OSHA-certified training
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Inspect products for quality compliance and packaging integrity
- Follow HACCP guidelines and safety procedures in all operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to -20°F) for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- No cold storage experience required – paid training provided
