Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage the daily workflow, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage the inventory management system to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure a hazard-free working environment.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse layout and procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical or management certification is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and MS Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
