Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and scheduling shifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and perform cycle counts.
- Ensure all machinery, forklifts, and equipment are maintained and inspected regularly.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline logistics and shipping processes.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a secure and organized work environment.
- Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in a fair and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling license.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WMS software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
