Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments (0°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage facilities
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance)
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods during receiving and shipping
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols for cold weather work environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and measurement
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided by company)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
