Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload refrigerated trucks
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and quality control protocols
- Conduct regular sanitation and safety inspections of storage facilities
- Use warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on logistics operations
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Valid driver's license preferred
- No prior cold storage experience necessary
- Willingness to complete paid certification program
