Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage areas (-20°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, sort, and organize perishable inventory with precision
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage monitoring systems
- Enforce strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements and quality control metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics coordination
- Participate in quarterly facility maintenance and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Valid forklift certification and clean driving record
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and temperature monitoring
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Comfortable with digital inventory tracking systems
