Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Execute inventory management tasks using digital tracking systems with remote accessibility
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize perishable goods by FIFO protocols
- Conduct daily facility safety inspections and report maintenance needs via remote portals
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated storage systems with on-site supervision
- Collaborate with logistics teams through virtual planning meetings for inventory optimization
- Document inventory movements and quality checks using mobile scanning technology
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods with appropriate gear
- Basic proficiency in inventory management software and mobile data entry systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid forklift certification or ability to complete company training program
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in digital record-keeping
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation to facility with flexible remote work options
