Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities (-20°F to 40°F) for perishable goods
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration systems using digital control interfaces
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and quality control procedures
- Coordinate with remote logistics teams for seamless supply chain operations
- Conduct daily safety audits and maintain HACCP compliance documentation
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in refrigerated zones
- Support remote inventory management through digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience required
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for remote reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
