Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stage temperature-controlled freight safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation (FIFO).
- Maintain strict temperature controls and document storage conditions.
- Ensure the warehouse facility is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (typically 30°F to 40°F).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and logging.
- Valid forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
