Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets and containers from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory within the cold storage facility according to strict safety and efficiency guidelines.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform regular quality checks on products to identify any spoilage or damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate shipping documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or cold storage environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in extreme cold environments (temperatures below 40°F).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
