Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain warehouse temperatures (-10°F to 45°F) using digital control systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated goods efficiently
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and temperature compliance
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures
- Perform inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Sanitize equipment and work areas according to HACCP standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6+ months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
