Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated storage areas
- Safely load/unload pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks (certification provided)
- Conduct daily inventory counts and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance protocols for food safety
- Perform sanitation duties including cleaning equipment and storage surfaces
- Operate material handling equipment in cold environments (-20°F to 45°F)
- Complete daily safety inspections and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and weight calculations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred (forklift training provided)
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or cold storage preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (will provide if not held)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
