Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts in cold environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and sanitize equipment following HACCP protocols
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using proper handling techniques
- Complete inventory counts and documentation in real-time systems
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety regulations
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic math and inventory documentation skills
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly with proper technique
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience in warehouse or cold storage preferred but not required
