Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Inspect and organize inventory using barcode scanning systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper PPE in sub-zero environments
- Conduct routine sanitation and preventive maintenance checks
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient inventory rotation
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour or Forklift certification a plus
- Ability to work in -10°F to 0°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math and computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
